Issam Khafaja, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal and Geriatric Medicine

Issam Khafaja, M.D., earned his medical degree from Damascus University, School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency programs at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles.

Dr. Khafaja is board certified in internal and geriatric medicine and has special interests in hospitalist and nursing home medicine. He has been practicing medicine in the Los Angeles area since 1996, and joined the Lakeside Medical Associates Inpatient Hospitalist Program in December of 2001.

Dr. Khafaja is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.

Dr. Khafaja enjoys spending his spare time on his hobbies, which include sports, technology, reading and listening to music.
