Gary Kong, M.D.

Gary Kong, MD, MPH, earned his medical degree from Southampton University in the United Kingdom. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He then underwent a fellowship in general internal medicine and applied health services research at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Kong concomitantly obtained a Masters of Public Health at UCLA. He subsequently completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship with sleep medicine, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Kong has been practicing pulmonary, critical care and hospital medicine in the San Gabriel Valley since 1997 and joined Lakeside Medical Associates in 2008.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American Society of Medicine. He is currently affiliated with Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
